I used Chris 3 years ago to fix a serious Oil leak. He fitted gaskets to two locations on the engine. NO OIL LEAKS since then ! ! Now I am coming back for a “Ant-Roll bar” repair. I'm sure that the choke not operating fully was probably the majority cause followed by rectifying my poor attempt at setting the new points. Regards, Tony C ------------------------------------------------------------- We can’t thank Chris enough, he’s done a superb job! He took care of our two MG C’s (one GT and one Roadster). It’s fair to say that the GT was a complete write off, rust and many missing parts to say the least. Complete restoration of the GT would have been nigh on impossible and extremely expensive (which we did not have the budget for). The Roadster was relatively structurally sound, though needed some solid maintenance- battery, petrol pump, some welding etc. Chris was quick to ascertain what needed to be done and amazingly found a buyer for the GT, which in turn funded for the restoration of the Roadster. We have an emotional family love for this car and Chris has made it all happen (along with some hard work from my wife). It will be treasured for years to come, and eventually handed down to my daughter- the one in the passenger seat. Cheers Chris! NB- he prefers beer to wine! Sam O ------------------------------------------------------------- I asked Chris to take a look at my 1969 MGB Roadster which was showing signs of rust in the wings and where others had tried to cover this up in the past. It was agreed that Chris would replace the rear wings, half front wings and repair the damage to the boot. This would be followed by a total respray. The work turned out to be more extensive than first thought and needed a lot of work. The end product is fantastic, the car is back to its original colour and looks as good as new. I can’t recommend Chris enough for the quality of his work and his attention to detail. Please see the photos of the work and the end product. An excellent job Chris, thank you very much. Ian S ------------------------------------------------------------- Very recently Chris Leverett worked his magic for me, by restoring the bodywork and respraying in 2-pack 'VW Irish Green' (a very good modern paint match to the 'original' colour). Chris condemned my 'creaky' Mountney steering wheel, so I won a nice 15" replacement wood-rim Motolita (on Ebay) - gives a real 1960's feel to the steering. My 6 Volt batteries failed to hold their charge, so Chris recommended converting to a modern 12 Volt (063 size) battery. So I've now fitted a12V Bosch 'Silver' 4001, which cost me £53 (2x6V batteries would have cost around £140). A fairly simple modification job - new battery is maintenance-free and guaranteed for 4 years! Thanks for the tip Chris. Bob S -------------------------------------------------------------
